The program objective is to link our organisation ‘Fundación Cordobesa de Equinoterapia’ with volunteers from around the globe interested in learning about Equine Therapy.
As a volunteer at our centre you will help babies, children and adults with a wide range of disabilities reach important milestones such as walking, speaking and reading for the first time using horse riding as an educational tool. By helping them to focus on movement, spatial orientation and muscle control, with perseverance and patience, the progress that the students make with your help can be truly incredible.
In the day to day running of the centre you will help by looking after the horses (cleaning, tacking up, exercising them etc.), help with the general maintenance of the facilities and most importantly interact with the students by assisting with the lessons.
